COVID-19 Update - 8th April 2021

Dear Friends,

We hope all is well with you and your family.

If you're planning to travel to England, here's what you'll need to know:

  • At present, guests staying for work, education or other legally permitted reasons can stay with us. Please check if you meet the criteria set by the government.
  • All travellers entering the UK, including British citizens, must present a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours of arrival. Arrivals from countries not on the UK's "red list" must quarantine for 10 days. This may be completed at a residential address. Then they have to take another Covid test on day two and day eight of their quarantine.
    • The Highbury Centre is not able to accomodate guests who need to self-isolate
  • There is mandatory hotel quarantine for British citizens and permanent residents arriving from countries on the "red list" from February 15. Non-UK residents from "red list" countries will be refused entry.
  • From May 17, hotels and B&Bs are expected to open their doors in England, allowing
    • two households to stay together with no limits on the number of people, or
    • a total of six people from different households
  • From June 21, group holidays and hotel stays will be allowed to go ahead as normal, by which point all legal limits on social contact will be removed, according to the roadmap.

We will continue to keep you informed as more information becomes available.

We want to reassure you that we've considered every aspect of your stay so that we can still offer you a great experience and fantastic friendly service while we all remain safe and well.

Our latest COVID-19 Guidelines may change from time to time according to the latest advice from government and UKHospitality.

If you need to contact us, the office is opened Monday-Friday from 7.30am-2pm. To book a room, please fill out the booking enquiry form. If you have not received our email, please check your spam folder.

We want to thank you for your encouraging emails and all the support you give us during these uncertain times.
