The Highbury Centre is located in the tranquil and leafy surroundings of Aberdeen Park in Highbury, in the London Borough of Islington. Founded in 1893 as the Foreign Missions Club, this welcoming Christian guest house has given shelter to missionaries, pastors, full time Christian workers and their families for over 100 years. Not just a comfortable and affordable place to lay your head, the Highbury Centre is warm, welcoming and friendly with a beautiful walled garden, play equipment, a lounge with plenty of DVDs, a laundry room, library, hub and two meeting rooms.

Our Ethos

All guests are to show respect for the Protestant Evangelical faith and ethos. To protect the Centre's ethos, the management may decline requests to stay at The Highbury Centre from individuals or groups where there is reason to anticipate they may not show such respect.

Our Vision

Our mission today still is to provide affordable accommodation and a place to rest to those who serve the Lord from across the world.

As well as offering accommodation, we have two beautiful meeting rooms which are ideal for meetings, small conferences, seminars and study groups. Catering is provided if needed and we’ve thought of everything so you don’t have to. We’ve stayed true to our original vision to offer rest and restoration to our guests and clients and part of that is making their lives as easy and stress-free as possible.

We love being part of our community in our leafy part of North London. We have strong links with local churches and we signpost our guests to Christian activities and attractions whenever they need us to.
