Accessibility

We want The Highbury Centre to be welcoming to everyone. We regret that our facilities are not currently wheelchair accessible, and we are in the early stages of planning improvements to address this.

If you require a ground floor room please let us know at the time of booking and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

Parking

We are pleased to offer on-site parking for guests on our private road. A parking permit is required at all times and a refundable deposit of £20 (cash) per vehicle is taken at reception.

  • Please let us know in advance if you will be arriving by car so we can arrange your permit.
  • Permits must be returned at check-out for your deposit to be refunded.

Parking without a valid permit may result in a fine. Please make sure you arrange this ahead of your arrival.

Phone Use

Rooms at The Highbury Centre are not equipped with telephones. If you are travelling internationally and need a local number, SIM cards are widely available at local shops and at most London airports.

Internet Access

We offer free WiFi throughout the house. If you need to print anything during your stay, please speak to reception and we will be happy to help.

Laundry Facilities

Our guest laundry is open from 3pm to 9pm and is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, washing powder and ironing facilities. Tokens can be purchased at reception.

Public Transport

The nearest underground station is Highbury and Islington on the Victoria line, around 10 to 15 minutes walk from us. From there you can reach the heart of London in just a few minutes.

Local bus routes connect you directly to many of London's most loved destinations including The British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, St Paul's Cathedral and Piccadilly Circus. We recommend the Transport for London website for journey planning, maps and fares.

Children

The Highbury Centre is a family friendly guest house and children are very welcome. We have baby cots and highchairs available on request, a selection of children's books, outdoor activity games for the garden, and our hub has a smart TV with YouTube and streaming for everyone to enjoy.

Please let us know at the time of booking if you need a cot or highchair and we will have everything ready for your arrival.

Smoking

The Highbury Centre is a non-smoking building throughout. We do have a designated outdoor smoking area and our reception team will be happy to point you in the right direction on arrival.

Please be aware that smoking inside the building may result in a fixed penalty charge of £50.

Pets

We are sorry that we are unable to accommodate pets at The Highbury Centre. Guide Dogs are of course very welcome.
