Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in: From 3pm
    • You’re welcome to arrive earlier, but please note your room may not be ready until 3pm.
    • In the meantime, you can relax in the lounge and leave your luggage with us if you’d like to head out.
  • Reception closes at 4pm
    • Please check in before 4pm, or contact us in advance to arrange a later arrival.
  • Check-out: By 10am

Accessibility

We regret to inform you that our facilities are not currently wheelchair accessible. We are in the early stages of planning improvements to ensure better accessibility in the future.

If you require a ground floor room, please inform us at the time of booking, and we will do our utmost to accommodate your requirements within our current capabilities.

Parking

  • Parking is available on our private road, but a parking permit is required at all times.
  • We provide permits to our guests in exchange for a £20 refundable deposit per vehicle.
    • Please let Reception know in advance if you will need a permit.
    • Permits must be returned at check-out to get your deposit back.

Note: Parking without a valid permit may result in a fine, so please ensure you arrange this ahead of time.

Phone Use

Please note The Highbury Centre has no public phone and the rooms are not equipped with phone. For longer stays we suggest to purchase a phone card when arriving to London.

Internet Access

We offer free WiFi coverage throughout the house. If you require printing, please go to reception.

Laundry Facilities

Our guest laundry is open from 3.00pm to 9:00pm. Equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, washing powder, and ironing facilities. You can purchase a token at reception.

Public Transport

The closest underground station is Highbury & Islington on the Victoria line. This is about 10-15 minutes’ walk away. Local buses take you directly to locations such as: The British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, St Paul’s Cathedral, Waterloo, Piccadilly Circus (walking distance from Trafalgar Square). You can plan your journey and also find transport maps on Transport for London.

Children

The Highbury Centre is a family friendly guesthouse and children are very welcome. We are equipped with baby cots and highchairs - please enquire when making a reservation. We have a selection of children's books and films as well as games to play in the garden.

Smoking

The Highbury Centre is a non-smoking building. If guests are not compliant, then The Highbury Centre will have the right to charge a fixed penalty of £50. We have a designated smoking area. Kindly inquire at the reception for more information.

Pets

Sorry, pets are not allowed at the guesthouse, with the exception of Guide Dogs.

Payment

Payment can be made through our online booking engine after completing the relevant declaration. Please see our terms and conditions for details. You can pay by credit/debit card or cash in persson in GBP Sterling. We do not accept cheques.
