A New Website for The Highbury Centre
When we first started out as the Foreign Missions Club in 1893, the only webs around were the sort attacked with feather dusters by the housemaid. These days, however, if you don’t have a website, you don’t exist. Here at The Highbury Centre, we want to reach out to as many people as we possibly can with our vision of providing affordable and comfortable accommodation in the heart of North London. We knew it was time to build a new website and our friends at Adept have done just that.
Two months ago, our brand-new website went live. In just the same way that we have grown and evolved from our earliest beginnings at the end of the 19th century, so it’s important to us that our website reflects the excellent standard of service we offer to our guests as we ourselves grow and change. Our original vision to provide affordable accommodation to those who serve the Lord from around the world hasn’t changed a bit since we first began, but we are very much in the digital age and we are always mindful of the need to give our guests the best possible information.
Our website is now a central hub for all our guests, existing and potential, with beautiful new images, three helpful blogs a month, clearer signposting to our facilities, easy to use booking enquiry forms and links and all our meeting spaces showcased clearly. The Highbury Centre is a modern and welcoming Christian guesthouse built on traditional values. Our website now reflects that and aims to give all our visitors an easy and satisfying navigation experience.
Whether you’re organising a meeting with catering, hiring a room for the day or planning your family trip back home to London, you will find everything you need on our website. We may have moved on from fountain pens and inkstands, but we pride ourselves that our communication, friendliness and approachability is just as strong now as it was back in 1893 when we first opened our doors to Christian guests in London.
