Providing a Good Breakfast for our Guests

Here at The Highbury Centre, we believe that a good breakfast sets our guests up for the day, whether they’re planning a family day out in the capital, some much needed rest and relaxation or a time of prayer and reflection.

Guest feedback is something we value highly and it’s great to read the remarks made by our satisfied customers.

For visiting missionaries and full-time Christian workers, the social aspect of breakfast at The Highbury Centre is just as important as the dishes themselves, as one of our recent visitors commented: “The breakfast was plentiful and hearty, just what an English breakfast should be! One delightful aspect of breakfast time was visiting with folks involved in Christian ministry from around the world.”

UK-based guests also appreciate the friendly and welcoming atmosphere in our breakfast room. “I have been visiting my son for the past three weeks while he recovered from surgery. The Centre was the ideal place for me to stay, offering peace, privacy and comfort after full and sometimes stressful days. Excellent breakfasts on a help-yourself basis, offering a very good range of food and with alternatives for those with allergies and diets. I will return.”

At the Centre, we want everyone to feel valued and looked after. We’re very happy to cater for any food intolerances or requirements our guests have. We can offer gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian breakfasts. Anyone who has a particular dietary need is encouraged to let us know when booking.

Families appreciate our relaxed, buffet style of serving breakfast. We don’t stand on ceremony, so you can enjoy the most important meal of the day without having to worry about formalities. Our portions are very generous as a recent visitor commented: “The breakfasts were enormous!”

The last word goes to a guest we welcomed last summer. “The breakfast was great – a real English breakfast with porridge. We loved it and the staff were welcoming, friendly and most helpful.”

Whatever your day holds, you can be sure of starting it with a delicious breakfast in our welcoming dining room.
