Tips For a Stress-Free Stay at The Highbury Centre

Here at The Highbury Centre, we’re all about adding value. We want to make your stay with us as comfortable and stress-free as possible. One of the ways we do that is to think of everything, so you don’t have to.

We’ve teamed up with local taxi company Premier Cars to give our guests the best possible service. Need a cab? Rather than spending ages hanging about on the street waiting to hail one, all you have to do is pick up our dedicated taxi phone in the reception area. You’ll be connected straight away, for free. When the taxi arrives outside, you’ll be alerted so you don’t waste any time and can get going straight away. If you need to book a journey back, just ask your friendly driver who will be able to organise that for you with no hassle at all. If you want to book before you arrive at The Highbury Centre, you can call Premier direct on 0203 388 0000.

If you’d rather use other forms of transport, we’re very well connected to the London transport network. A short walk up Aberdeen Park brings you on to the main road where you can catch any number of buses into town. A pleasant 15-minute walk takes you to Highbury and Islington Underground Station, on the Victoria Line. Our receptionist is very happy to advise on the best routes to wherever you would like to go.

We have a communal area for eating at The Highbury Centre, but apart from a microwave, there are no cooking facilities. However, we’re very happy for guests to bring in food from outside and if you’d like a meal delivered, you can get in touch with Deliveroo or UberEats, both of whom deliver to us. Just click on these links: www.deliveroo.co.uk/restaurants/london/Highbury or www.ubereats.com.

In addition, several local takeaways will deliver free to the Highbury Centre. Tootoomoo in Islington offers Chinese and Japanese dishes; Abi’s Pizza is self-explanatory; Café Saffron offers Indian cuisine and Trattoria Sapori has a wide range of Italian food. There are many more, but these are a few suggestions to get you going. You can find them all by clicking this link: www.tastyfind.co.uk.

Whatever it is that you need, we want to make sure that we help you as much as we can. For any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask us. We aim to make the Highbury Centre your home from home while you’re staying with us, and that includes giving you as many tips to avoid stress as possible.
