Things To Do In London - Royal Observatory

Greenwich is a lovely place to explore when in London. A great day program can be to do a River cruise on the Thames followed by a day in Greenwich. The National Maritime Museum offers various interesting exhibitions for young and old related to history, navy and other sea travel topics.

Another spectacular museum to visit is the Royal Observatory where visitors can stand on the meridian line being in the east and the west at the same time and see exhibitions about astronomy.

Beyond these Greenwich Park itself is worth to visit (and maybe have a picnic if weather allows). The park is spacious and offers a great variety of landscapes and wildlife including a herb garden and a deer park.
